Personal Computers Warranty Policy for Printers

1. Product Claiming Period
Warranty claims can only be made within the stated warranty period from the delivery date as mentioned on the original invoice.
2. Warranty Conditions for Replace/Repair
2.1 Replacement with New Unit
Within the warranty period, the Printer may be replaced with a new unit under the following conditions:
- If a critical component, such as the Control Board, Power Supply is found to be defective within 1 month of purchase.
- If factory defects are identified within the first 30 days of purchase that affect the overall functionality of the Printer.
- PC reserves the right to decide on the course of servicing the warranty based on each case.
2.2 Repair and Defective Parts Replacement
Within the warranty period, defective parts will be repaired or replaced based on the following conditions:
- Any hardware defect not covered under the critical component replacement clause will be repaired or defective parts replaced at no cost to the customer, provided it falls within the warranty terms.
- The repair timeline and part availability will be communicated to the customer by the Personal Service Center.
Exclusions the warranty does not cover:
- Accessories: Any accessories purchased with the product package will not be covered under warranty after 48 hours from the date of purchase.
- Software Issues: The printer may be used with sales or operational software; however, any software-related issues or connectivity problems stemming from customer use will not be covered under the printer warranty
- Consumable parts/components: Ink, Tonners, Print Head, Fuser Unit, Pickup Rollers, Separation Pads, Waste Toner Container & Full maintenance kit.
- Maintenance kit: Rollers and fusers may not be covered after a certain period or usage count.
- Manufacturer Guidelines: Specifications in the user manual outline recommended maintenance intervals.
- Page Count: Kits often have a maximum page count (Fusers rated for 100,000 pages).
- Time Period: Manufacturers may specify a time frame (1-2 years based on the printer & printing) for replacement.
- Usage Patterns: Heavy use may lead to faster wear, while low use might extend life.
- User Responsibility: Users are expected to monitor and replace these parts as needed.
- Warranty Exclusions: Issues arising after exceeding specified limits are typically not covered under warranty.
4. Conditions that Void the Warranty
- Physical Damage: Any damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, or improper handling, including cracks and scratches on the screen, will void the warranty.
- Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications: If repairs or modifications are performed by anyone other than Personal Service Center, the warranty will be void.
- Environmental Damage: Exposure to extreme conditions, such as moisture, liquids, or excessive dust, which can cause oxidation or rust, will void the warranty. Damage resulting from environmental factors (e.g., power surges, lightning) will void the warranty.
- Tear/Wear: Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage.
- Third-party Components: Using third-party parts, accessories or consumables that cause damage to the Printer can void the warranty.
- Product Information Tag damage: The model number, serial number or warranty stickers have been removed or tampered with.
- Customer-Induced Damage (CID): Customer-Induced Damage refers to any damage caused by mishandling, misuse, or accidents. Cracked or broken scanner glass/printer display, Liquid spills causing internal damage, Physical damage due to drops or impacts.
- CID Handling:
- Inspection and Assessment: If your UPS experiences an issue, our service center will inspect and assess the damage. If CID is identified, you will receive a detailed report on request and repair cost estimate.
- Repair Options: 2) Out-of-Warranty Repair: Repairs for CID are not covered under the standard warranty and will be performed at the customer’s expense. 3) Replacement Options: In cases where repair is not feasible, options for a replacement UPS will be provided at a discounted rate.

- Online Support: Troubleshooting via online support/call.
- Carry-in Service: Requires the customer to bring the Printer to Personal Service Center.
Fault Reporting
- All products covered under warranty are thouroughly checked before dispatch for any physical damage or faults. If the customer finds any fault, it has to be informed via email or viber to pc within 72 hours for pc to evaluate.
- PC will not be responsible for any damages to the product during transit.
- If there is a factory fault with the PRINTER or its functionality, it is the customer’s responsibility to inform Personal Computers via Customer Service Viber 7741033 or email at [email protected] with detailed information.
